- Steiner binoculars are built to withstand years of use and abuse. They feature an extremely compact, shock resistant
design that features an unbreakable Makrolon housing that can cope with the most demanding conditions, yet they are
extremely rugged and lightweight.
- Steiner's rubber armoring is long-lasting, slip-proof and
noiseless. Hunters will appreciate the firm grip it provides in cold,
heat, rain or sun. In addition to providing protection for your optics,
it is resistant to oil, dirt, and even salt water.
- Steiner's individual eyepiece focus makes for comfortable
viewing. Simple to adjust and easy to use, even with one hand. If both
eyes are of the same diopter strength, simply set both of the adjusting
rings on the eyecups to "0" and you will see clearly from 20 yards to
infinity. If not, adjust both oculars individually for razor sharp
images. Once adjusted, everything will be sharp and clear from approx 20
yards to infinity for varying distances.
- All Steiner lenses are fully, multi-coated to provide
outstanding viewing quality and extremely high light transmission. All
lenses and prisms are manufactured with maximum precision and are
specially coated and deliver optimum results. Our state-of the art
optical technology guarantees the brightest images, highest contrast and
most natural color definition.
- Porro-prism systems are used in almost all of the high-quality
binoculars. This optics system is extremely rugged and creates a perfect
three-dimensional image. Other benefits are greater light transmission
and a bigger depth of field because the two
objective lenses are further apart from each other.
- The Military/Marine binoculars are designed to withstand temperature ranges from -40° to +176° F.
- These binoculars are guaranteed to be waterproof when submerged
up to 5 meters or 16 feet of water. Special sealing technology protects
the optics from dust, dirt and humidity. Regardless of the weather
conditions, you can rely on your Steiner binoculars.
- Steiner binoculars incorporate a unique two-way valve system
that purges the interior of the binocular of any oxygen or humid air.
This creates a vacuum prior to filling with dry nitrogen that prevents
fogging or the formation of condensation inside the binoculars. Only
this method fully guarantees an absolutely condensation-free use of the
binocular due to changes in temperature and altitude. Even temperature
variations between -40° and +176° F will not have any effects on the
functionality of our nitrogen-filled binoculars. The unique 2-way-valve
technology also makes inspection, service and maintenance possible
even after years of use.
