Unissued WWII U.S. Navy ND MARK IV Gas Mask and Bag in the original 1944 packaging. Gas Mask, hose and filter are still wrapped in cellophane. The Navy Diaphragm Mark IV was very similar to an improved Mark III gas mask. The elliptical eye pieces used on the Mark III where not as efficient as the larger triangular eye pieces used with the Mark IV. The Mark IV is perhaps one of the most collected W.W.II Navy gas masks today. This mask is in excellent condition and displays well.
